There’s a future Hogwarts student on the way!
“Harry Potter” star Devon Murray has revealed he’s going to be a father.
Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan in the film franchise, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Shannon McCaffrey.
The 31-year-old shared the news by posting a picture of a baby’s onesie and the image of the ultrasound. "Baby Murray,” he captioned the snap and eluded to the due date by adding, “14th of January 2021."
The pending baby news got the attention of a couple of Murray’s “Harry Potter” co-stars, who offered their well wishes.
“Awww congratulations Dev!!” wrote Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, while Scarlettt Hefner, who played Pansy Parkinson added, “Congratulations Dev!! So exciting.”
Murray responded by writing: "Thank you guys! We’re both so happy, excited and nervous and can not wait until he/she are in our arms.”
The Irish actor began dating McCaffrey in 2018.
Last year, Murray displayed his love on McCaffrey’s birthday.
“Happy Birthday to the best girlfriend ever. I can’t wait to go on more life adventures with you,” he captioned a series of snaps of the happy couple.
Murray’s baby announcement comes two months after fellow "Harry Potter" star Rupert Grint welcomed his first child.
On May 7th, Grint disclosed the arrival of his daughter with Georgia Groome.
"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl," the couple's rep said in a statement to E! News. "We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."
