Guests are going to let loose at Hoda Kotb’s wedding reception.
The “Today” show host opened up about her upcoming nuptials to NYC financier Joel Schiffman, and it looks to be a guaranteed good time.
"I'm putting the planning in the hands of professionals,'' the 55-year-old told People. "All I want is Joel, [daughters] Haley and Hope, and my closest inner circle. I can picture Joel at the end of the aisle and Haley and Hope wondering what's going on."
While she hasn’t divulged the date or the location, Kotb did disclose it will feature “sand and drinks and a great deejay.”
With that being said, her expectations for the big day include everyone leaving their inhibitions at home.
“Everything’s just the backdrop for a beautiful moment,” Kotb added. “The rest of it’s just drunk dancing.”
Kotb and Schiffman apparently share a love of the beach as the pair were engaged while on a tropical vacation in Mexico last year. The pair have been together since 2013.
This will be the second time down the aisle for both of them. Kotb was previously married to tennis coach Burzis Kanga from 2005 - 2008. While little details are known of Schiffman’s first marriage, he shares a 25-year-old daughter with his ex-wife.
Kotb adopted her daughter Haley Joy in 2017 and added sister Hope Catherine o the mix two years later.
As far as having more children in the future, Kotb revealed she and Schiffman are considering adding a third to their brood.
"I'm not 100 percent sure. I'm like a sign person, I always look for signs,” she told Ellen DeGeneres, before adding, "I think we're thinking about it."
