Ian Ziering remembers ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ co-star Luke Perry

Ian Ziering is thinking about Luke Perry.

Ziering, 56, celebrated his late “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star on what would have been Perry’s 45th birthday.

“All brothers from different mothers. Happy birthday LP, RIP,” captioned the throwback photo of himself, Perry and their two other co-stars Jason Priestley and Brian Austin Green.

On Monday, Ziering opened up about his memories of Perry and how much he missed the “Riverdale” star.

“I knew Luke since I was 17 years old,” Ziering told EXTRA.

Ziering explained that Perry’s death still strikes him in unexpected and highly emotional moments.

“When you lose anybody, especially a loved one like that… His phone number is still in my contact list,” he said. “When I am scrolling, sometimes I will see it… Moments when he comes to mind, I like to believe those are moments when people who have passed are thinking of you. This was just a day I was consciously thinking of him… He is still very much a big part of my life. I miss his phone calls… I lost a brother. It’s the worst.”

He also commented on the 30th anniversary of the classic Aaron Spelling-produced sitcom’s first air date.

“It’s nice we are remembered for something so poignant in its day. So typical for what it was, it still resonates,” he told the outlet.

This isn’t the first time Ziering remembered his former co-star. Back in March, Ziering posted a photo of the two on the anniversary of Perry’s death.

“Hard to believe it’s been a year since losing Luke,” he captioned a black-and-white photo of the two. “Though time heals wounds, the pain of loss lasts forever. Miss you so much pal. #RIPLuke.”
