Jennifer Lopez Reveals How Coronavirus Has Impacted Her Wedding to Alex Rodriguez

Not many things can slow down Jennifer Lopez, but even she can’t avoid being affected by a global pandemic.

The megastar, who has been in self-isolation alongside fiancé Alex Rodriguez, revealed the A-list couple has had to put their upcoming nuptials on hold due to the ongoing spread of coronavirus.

Lopez gave an update on their wedding date during an appearance on an at-home edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"Actually, it did affect it a little bit,” the 50-year-old said of their big day. “We will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that."

Although the "Hustlers" actress had not revealed many wedding details in the past, Rodriguez had hinted it would involve a flight, which some took to mean it would be a destination wedding.

The "Let’s Get Loud" singer added: "We're kinda of just in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. Again, it's just something we're going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out."

Ellen later offered up a solution by suggesting the singer and A-Rod should have their wedding on the TikTok platform.

“Do a TikTok wedding?” Lopez said hesitantly. “Something to think about. We can’t make any commitments right now.”

While Lopez and Rodriguez have been engaged since March 2019, last month she revealed she was in no rush to tie the knot during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s 2020 Vision: Your Life In Focus Tour.

Although her wedding plans may be temporarily on hold, fans can still enjoy J.Lo’s artistic talents while homebound as her new series “Thanks A Million” recently premiered on the new Quibi streaming platform.

The feel-good show follows as 10 celebrities give away $100,000 to a person who's impacted them. Other stars making appearances include Nick Jonas, Kristen Bell and Kevin Hart.

The first three episodes are available to stream on the Quibi app now.
