Would You Watch a Karaoke Competition Show Hosted by Tituss Burgess? Yes, a Hundred Times Yes

Netflix’s next obsession...

Tituss Burgess is set to host Netflix’s next obsession, an eight-episode singing competition show where contestants will face-off to see who can most accurately sing their chosen popular hits.

Filmed near London, Sing On! is based partly on science, partly in strategy and has already seen success in the Spanish and German markets. On the show, six contestants battle it out for vocal glory and a maximum prize of $60,000. The stakes rise as a "vocal analyzer" determines how close to the original each contestant can sing. Each round, the contestant with the best performance will be safe from elimination, but will not be told about the results of each analysis.

Premiering in September, the contestants will vote for who they think should be removed from the competition through five rounds, with the final two singers in a dueling duet for the grand prize.

Burgess, best known on screen for his Emmy-nominated role in Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, also has notable Broadway credits including Jersey Boys, The Little Mermaid, and Guys and Dolls.
