Machine Gun Kelly Starring in Upcoming Action Thriller 'One Way'

MGK continues flexing acting chops with new thriller role

Machine Gun Kelly returns to the silver screen for the upcoming action thriller One Way, directed by Andrew Baird. He and co-star, Travis Fimmel of the History Channel show Vikings, are cast in a flick depicting two men caught in the middle of a robbery gone wrong.

Entertainment publication Deadline says filming will being January 2021.

Producers say the story follows the character Freddy (Kelly) who’s running away from a robbery/drug deal gone wrong. A potentially fatal wound leaves the character high and dry in the California desert, fending for himself.

Promotional arm for the movie, Highland Film Group, released a statement reading in part “We are excited to partner again with the top-notch filmmaker team behind Zone 414 for this amazing new action-thriller."

Kelly has already built a prominent acting resume with high profile roles in the Netflix original movie The Dirt based on the infamous metal rock band Mötley Crüe. He’s also working on a future project with Robert De Niro and John Malkovich titled Wash Me In the River.

MGK’s upcoming album Tickets to My Downfall is expected to drop September 25 will feature a myriad of collaborators including Travis Barker, blackbear, Halsey, Trippie Redd, and Yungblud.
