Baby Archie Is Up Close and Adorable in Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Christmas Card

It’s beginning to look a lot like a royal Christmas.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's highly anticipated Christmas card is finally here and it gives baby Archie the spotlight.

The Queen's Commonwealth Trust Twitter account shared the sweet picture on Monday night.

"Just sharing the sweetest Christmas Card from our President and Vice-President, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Very Merry Christmas, everyone!" the tweet read.

The black-and-white card finds the parents sitting in front of a glowing Christmas tree beaming at Archie, who is the star of the show as he adorably stares down the camera lens.

“Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours,” the e-card reads.

According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent out an e-card in an attempt to reduce environmental waste. “Merry Christmas from Sussexes!” he wrote on Twitter.

“Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan opted for an environmentally friendly e-card this year, sharing a new family portrait with friends, family, colleagues and charities (including all their patronages). Photo taken by @Janina Gavankar, ©SussexRoyal.”

The card comes just a few days after Prince William and Kate Middleton posted their family Christmas card with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, propped up on a motorbike.

While the royal family has a traditional way of celebrating the Christmas holiday, Prince Harry and Meghan will not be in attendance for the festivities.

They have already missed the Queen’s pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace and will not be present for the traditional royal Christmas Day celebration at Sandringham Estate.

Instead, they are spending Archie’s first Christmas in Canada with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

Prince Archie was born in London on May 6.

However, their six-week trip isn’t sitting well with some royals who believe the couple should cut their trip short due to Prince Phillip’s ailing health.

Prince Philip, 98, has spent his fourth night in a hospital while battling a “flu-like” illness and suffering a “bad fall,” according to the Daily Mail.
