Reese Witherspoon's Son Hangs Upside-Down in Hilarious Homeschooling Update

Reese Witherspoon is parents everywhere in her latest update about how her child's homeschooling is going.

Her 7-year-old son, Tennessee, has been hanging around while remote learning...literally. Witherspoon shared a series of photos to her Instagram account on Monday, featuring an upside-down Tennessee while learning from the comfort of his home.

"Home school is going great," Witherspoon captioned the photos.

The post resonated with parents everywhere as many attempt to homeschool their own children during the coronavirus pandemic with the help of remote learning tools like Zoom calls with teachers.

Moms, dads, and celebrity friends alike took to the comments section of the post with their thoughts on the hilarious photos.

"Tennessee is a bat now," Mindy Kaling wrote. Another user chimed in, "I feel this so much."

Witherspoon is no stranger to sharing her parenting experiences on Instagram, taking to her page in May with photos of herself attempting to work from home while Tennessee dangled his feet in her face.

"Really nailing this WFT/homeschooling life," she captioned the post.

And while it may seem that Tennessee has the job of embarrassing his mother down to a science, really, it's Witherspoon that's keen on embarrassing her own children.

During a virtual episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Witherspoon shared that embarrassing her children is just part of the "job."

“I just say if you’re not embarrassing your children, you’re not spending enough time with them,” Witherspoon said. “That’s basically my role. It’s our job, as parents, to really ramp up the embarrassment.”
