After news broke on Sunday that actress Tanya Roberts had passed away, her rep is now claiming that these reports were exaggerated.

According to a report from TMZ, a publicist for the former "Bond girl" is now saying that she is still alive, despite unveiling a press release announcing her death on Sunday.

The rep, Mike Pingel, claimed that Roberts' partner, Lance O'Brien, had informed him of her passing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Sunday. Pingel then released a statement.

Per Page Six, O'Brien said the mix-up happened during a “blubbering” phone call he had with Pingel following an “end of life” visit at the hospital.

“[Pingel] goes, ‘What happened?’ And I say, ‘I just said goodbye to Tanya, and I got to see her beautiful eyes one last time.’ And after that, I’m just blubbering,” O’Brien recalled.

However, O'Brien then reportedly got a call from the hospital on Monday morning saying the actress was still alive. Roberts had been hospitalized since Christmas Eve after collapsing while walking her dog.

During an interview with Inside Edition, O'Brien got the call from the hospital. "Now you are telling me she's alive?" O'Brien said before crying. "The hospital is telling me she is alive. They are calling me from the ICU team."

O'Brien was not permitted to be by Roberts' side due to COVID-19 protocols until what he thought were her final hours. "When she saw me and I was there, I saw her eyes open up. I felt good. I said, 'Hey, her eyes are opening. Her eyes are opening.' They told me that's just a reflex," O'Brien shared.

O'Brien also added that the hospital staff told him she "had no hope to live."

He has since clarified to Page Six that doctors have reportedly taken Roberts off life support and said there is no chance she will make it.
