WATCH: 'The Rock' surprises children's hospital with new Xbox consoles, 'GO Karts'


ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is cooking up some big surprises for patients at St. Louis Children's Hospital and others across the country. He's partnering with Xbox and Gamers Outreach to give out brand new, custom game consoles and specialized Gamers Outreach Karts, also known as GO Karts.

He shared a video of the unveiling of the new Xbox consoles on Instagram:

St. Louis Children's Hospital is one of 20 specially selected hospitals to receive the gifts.

The GO Karts were built specifically for hospitals to empower and bring joy to families through play, giving kids access to interactive entertainment and the chance to socialize via video games.

The custom Xbox Series X features Johnson’s iconic Brahma Bull logo representing strength, resilience, heart and power, and includes a special engraved message for kids alongside his signature summoning hope and goodwill:

“Keep smiling and have fun. Love, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson”

Gamers Outreach is a 501(c)(3) built on making video games accessible to kids everywhere.
