Google has just dropped its “Year in Search 2021” highlighting the top trending searches amongst its users over the past year. The company looked at which search terms had a high spike in traffic over a sustained period of time compared to the prior year.
Music was once again a popular category as users searched for material relating to a wide-variety of artists. Musicians and bands that end up in the top trending searches can do so for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s positive or negative, searches for these artists were way up in comparison to 2020.
