Chicago rapper Kanye West has made it official. After dropping hints that he would like to change his name to the moniker we've all grown to love - Ye - a judge has now signed off on his request.

It's now just Ye. No middle or last name. You may update your contacts accordingly.

TMZ has obtained documents stating that the shortened version of his name, which does appear on his birth certificate, will now be his only official title. Although, we're pretty sure if you scream "YEEZUS" at him from across the street he'll answer.

Kan... sorry, Ye recently put his massive Monster Lake Ranch in Cody, Wyoming up for sale, which he purchased in September 2019 and spans a total of 9,000 acres, at a listing price of $11 million.

The rapper has also dropped news of plans to launch a range of DONDA tech products, named after his late mother and the inspiration for his latest album -- as well as a new school just outside Simi Valley, in Southern California, that he’s fittingly dubbing the Donda Academy.
