“How we feeling at this uh, tiny ass desk?” Lizzo asked the crowd before jumping into the Tiny Desk concert we’ve all been waiting for.

Just over a month ago, Lizzo teased that she had stopped by NPR’s iconic Tiny Desk performance space. Everyone immediately knew the queen’s energy and amazing vocals would be the perfect fit for the unique setting, and we’ve been waiting on the edge of our seats since news of the performance surfaced.

To say she delivered on all of our wildest expectations is a severe understatement. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” she said in a speaking voice that’s just as smooth as her singing is. “So I think I’ll do it. Today.”

Her stunning performance kicked off with album title track “Cuz I Love You.” Even while wearing a bright orange dress with matching earrings and neon nails, Lizzo’s powerful vocals were without a doubt the highlight. Bluesy, soulful renditions of her hit songs were given flawless performances in the stripped-down environment.

“I like you girl with the middle part,” she called out to a fan, glamorously dabbing sweat from her face before rolling into a performance of “Juice.” “This desk is so damn small. My thigh barely fits underneath it.”

Her glowing personality and pure talent shone as she wrapped up one of Tiny Desk’s best peformances with a flute solo. Watch the full video above!
