Rihanna -- otherwise known as Robyn Fenty -- the actress and singer who has topped the Hip Hop and Pop music charts since the late-2000s, has now entered another exclusive club.

With the help of her wildly popular Fenty Beauty line and Savage x Fenty lingerie company, the 33-year-old Barbadian Ambassador-at-Large is now ranked among the world's elite moneymakers, crossing the billionaire threshold and seating her just behind Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.

Rihanna is now worth an estimated $1.7 billion according to Forbes, with the bulk of her bank (an estimated $1.4 billion) coming from the value of Fenty Beauty, worth a conservative $2.8 billion of which she owns 50%. RiRi's lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, is worth an estimated $270 million, and the rest comes from her record and film sales.

“The majority of her $1.7 billion estimated net worth is not from singing but from cosmetics,” Forbes editor Kerry Dolan tells Good Morning America. "From a super-successful cosmetics line which, when it was launched, drew lots of praise because there were something, like, more than 40 shades for all range of skin tones, which was something that at the time, not very many cosmetics lines had been that inclusive."

Other self-made female entrepreneurs on the list include Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.

"Women are making more headway, slowly but surely as super-successful entrepreneurs," Dolan added. "So we will see more famous artists, entertainers, performers go into a successful entrepreneurial vein. It’s been proved as a proven formula for some people so others would like to try it."

Late last year, RiRi, Oprah, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift were all included on Forbes' annual list of The World's 100 Most Powerful Women, where they shared space with the likes of Queen Elizabeth II and Vice-President Kamala Harris.
