Snoop Dogg Set To Judge Alligator Trainers and More on New TV Show

It's time to 'Go-Big' or go home

Get your monster trucks and alligators ready, that’s right, because there’s a new extreme-talent competition coming to TBS, and the next great singer or comedian just won’t do for this one.

Described as a series to showcase “supersized talents on a scale never before seen on television,” Go-Big Show will feature acts like monster truck drivers, alligator trainers, and stunt archery (queue Katniss Everdeen) - going head-to-head for a $100,000 prize.

The show will be hosted by comedian Bert Kreischer, and as for who will be deciding the contestant’s fates, the uber talented talent judging judges include, Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles and AEW wrestler “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

With COVID-19 safety protocols in place, production has begun on the ten episodes ordered for the first season, set to premiere in 2021. Contestants and staff are isolating together for the duration of filming and the arena's seats will remain empty during filming, however, the show will feature a drive-in audience outside.

According to Corie Henson, Executive VP and Head of Unscripted Programming for TBS, TNT and TruTV, "'Go-Big Show' celebrates unique, untraditional and unforgettable American talent. Each contestant brings tremendous heart and swagger, which also perfectly describes Bert and our judges, a dream team of larger-than-life talent.” Brett Weitz, General Manager of the aforementioned stations also added that they aim to thrill and go “bigger and bolder” when it comes to their unscripted television line-up.

So if we can pat our heads and rub our stomachs at the same time, does that count as an extreme talent? It’s whatever, if we can’t be a contestant then maybe we can pull some strings and be part of that drive-in audience.
