Travis Scott Announces Collaborative Album Filled With Features

More music is on the way

As promised, new music from Travis Scott has been released with a promised of more on the way.

On the latest installment of the .WAV Radio show on Monday, Trav and fellow Cactus Jack member Chase B teased a new collab album called Escapism, and blessed us by dropping a few of unreleased gems that are to be expected on the album. The duo started things off by playing not one but two Big Sean collabs, "Zen" and “Lithuania.”

And they didn’t stop there, the two must have been in a giving mood and continued to roll out new misic. Next up, the duo dropped a new jaunt by Don Toliver and Chase B called “Cafeteria” featuring Gunna. The two swerved back and forth sharing their additions to the collab, along with some new music, from both industry a-listers, and up and comers making a name for themselves.

Here’s the rundown of the rest of the shared tracks; A new Travis bop “White Tee” featuring Young Thug, who additionally lent his rap prowess on a verse for Chase B’s "MAYDAY," which also features Sheck Wes. Wrapping up (pun very much intended), they previewed a new Nav song produced by Wheezy called “Pickney,” A new Swae Lee jaunt, “Scrooge” and major vibe “The Parables” from future GOAT YBN Cordae. You know what they say, “sharing is caring” and we obviously care about Travis, and now we know he cares about us too.

Since the release of his last solo album ASTROWORLD in 2018, Scott’s been keeping busy releasing a procession of singles with various other artists. Most recently, he featured on “Wash Us In The Blood,” Kanye West’s track released last month and gave us latin vibes, teaming up with Rosalía on “TKN." Also getting with Kid Cudi on “The Scotts, "with Young Thug on “Out West,” and Migos on “Give No Fxk”.

Travis also took the opportunity to use his platform to share a PSA with his hometown city of Houston, "Let me tap in right now, okay? This is a public service announcement," he exclaimed, then continued "make sure y'all got the good echos on that thing right there. COVID-19 in the H. Listen here, my fellow Houstonians. We have to lock in and we got to protect ourselves, y'all, because it's going up, man.”

Travis shared that he received a call from Texas politician Linda Hidalgo in which she explained the growing rate of coronavirus cases in the state. He urged his listeners "If we don't kind of get more control of how we moving around and things like that, it can be another breakout and we'd have to slow the city down so - we don't need that right now. We need everybody to try to practice as much as they can. You know what I mean? Social distancing, whether y'all got to get on FaceTime or even if y'all got to come to each other's houses, try to just keep it day one squad or whatever it is."

Clearly Trav has been doing just that and for that we’re thankful. Keeping his distance means this flow of music will continue coming our way. No sure when exactly we’ll be able to hear Escapism in its entirety,  but based on what we’ve heard thus far to say we’re hype to hear the rest is a massive understatement.
