You can ask Kelly Clarkson anything and she’ll give you an honest answer.
During a digital segment for “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the 37-year-old kept it very real with “The Voice” season 14 winner Brynn Cartelli, in which each had to ask the other any three questions they wanted.
But it seemed Cartelli may not have expected the GRAMMY winner’s answer when she came up with one of her rather innocent questions.
“What is the last thing you do before you go to bed every night?” the 16-year-old inquired. “Is there one thing?”
“Well Brynn," Clarkson began her truthful reply while laughing. "I was single for many years, so…I have children and how one makes children is generally what I do before bed. That’s not a lie."
She added: "That's real and it's not weird. It's natural."
“And that’s why America loves you,” the teen quickly responded, before jokingly covering up her ears as to shield herself from what her idol might say next.
Clarkson has been married to husband Brandon Blackstock since 2013. The couple share two children, daughter River Rose, 5, and son Remington Alexander, 3.
Moving on from discussing her love life, Clarkson gave less saucy responses when Cartelli’s questions stuck to music.
When asked what three albums she would want while stranded on a deserted island, Clarkson responded, Annie Lennox’s “Diva,” Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” and U2’s “The Joshua Tree.” Few could argue with any of these answers.
Since premiering in September, Clarkson’s self-tilted daytime talk show has been a big hit in the ratings, scoring the highest debut for a new syndicated show since 2012.
