Disney is buzzing with news.
A Buzz Lightyear origin film featuring Chris Evans as the voice of the "Toy Story" character was announced on Thursday during Disney Investor Day.
The project, titled "Lightyear," will follows the beloved "Toy Story" character's journey from being a test pilot to a spec hero, per Deadline.
It will be directed by "Finding Dory's" Angus MacLane.
Buzz Lightyear has been voiced by "Home Improvement" star Tim Allen in all four films in the franchise. It's unclear if he's involved in the upcoming project in anyway.
Pixar even gave fans a sneak peek at the character on Twitter:
"Lightyear" is set to hit theaters on June 17, 2022.
