Brave
This 2012 Pixar film is about a rebellious young princess in the Scottish Highlands who has to save the kingdom after a curse turns her mother into a bear. Co-director Brenda Chapman, the animation studio's first female director, said the story was inspired by her relationship with her own daughter.
