“I think everyone has felt this at one point or another,” Camila Cabello wrote on Wednesday as she previewed her new song “Cry Form Me.” The scorching new single is the latest listen from her upcoming project, Romance. “When your ex moves on faster than you and of course you want them to be happy but just... not so fast.”
Not so fast is an understatement from Cabello, who calls out her former lover on broken promises and wishes them to swim in the same heartbreak as her.
Maybe eventually everyone can be happy, but right now if this hurts, she wants it to hurt for everyone.
“When I said I hope you’re happy, didn’t mean it,” she howls on the third sample from her upcoming sophomore album. “Never thought you’d be so good at moving on.”

“Cry For Me” is another example of "love at all angles," as promised by Camila for her upcoming Romance project. It follows two tracks of desire and temptation Cabello released last month. "These songs are basically the story of my life the past couple years and the stories I've accumulated," Cabello explained earlier this year.
Camila Cabello released her debut album in January of 2018. Camila was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards in February. More recently, Cabello’s duet with Shawn Mendes, "Señorita," spent some time as the number one song in the country.
