Fans Celebrate 8 Years of Fifth Harmony: 'I Miss These Girls'

Harmonizers around the world are paying tribute to 5H

It was eight years ago we were introduced to Fifth Harmony.

Harmonizers all around the world are celebrating #8yearsofFifthHarmony by using the hashtag on social media to share their favorite videos, photos, and memories of the girl group.

Formed in 2012 after finishing in third place during the second season of The X Factor, Fifth Harmony immediately began to gain popularity releasing their debut EP Better Together and taking part in their first headlining tour the following year.

Despite not releasing their debut album until 2015, Fifth Harmony had already attained superstar status by this point.

When the group announced their hiatus back in 2018, they made sure to share the love with the fans that have embraced them since the beginning.

Now that eight years have passed, fans are once again showing Fifth Harmony some love.

“No matter how much time passes these girls will always mean the world to me,” one Twitter user wrote.

“They gave me female role models and understanding when I felt that I needed it the most. Despite their own hardships and behind the scenes struggles they managed to save my life and give me hope.” another added.

There was a common theme in pretty much every tweet that was sent out. We all miss 5H.

Fifth Harmony has seen a bit of a renaissance during the COVID-19 pandemic as their hit “Work From Home” has seen streams of the song rapidly increase. Lauren Jauregui called it “the gift that keeps on giving” admitting the group “didn’t even know” it would become such a big hit.

“We're so ahead of our time. Wow. Iconic, is what I can say to that."
