Jessica Simpson Shows Off 100-Pound Weight Loss by Bringing Back Her Iconic Daisy Dukes

Simpson threw it back to her 'Dukes of Hazzard' days

Jessica Simpson showed off a classic look in the latest picture from her Jessica Simpson Style collection.

In a throwback to her 2005 Dukes of Hazzard days, Simpson posed in a pair of Daisy Dukes style denim shorts along with a yellow and white short-sleeved top that tied above her waist.

“Classic Jess!” the photo captioned showing Simpson standing next to a surfboard with the door to a van propped open revealing an acoustic guitar and rug.

A year ago, Simpson stunned the world when she announced that she had lost 100 pounds just six months after giving birth to her daughter Birdie Mae Johnson.

“6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240),” she captioned an Instagram post.

“My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder.”

Simpson worked with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak to help transform her body. While working out was a major component of her weight loss, Pasternak wanted to have Simpson focus on “five daily behaviors” that would help her reach her goal.

Walking at least 12,000 steps a day, getting at least seven quality hours of sleep, unplugging from technology for at least one hour a day, adhering to a specific diet of three meals and two snacks high in fiber and protein, and doing resistance workouts every other day.

Simpson’s latest post shows she’s not only sticking to the plan, but thriving with it.
