Justin Bieber Reveals He Wish He Saved Himself for Marriage

Thinking back on life before Hailey

We all have regrets. However, not all of us have to publicly endure living through, and then constantly be reminded of our failures and misgivings. Such is the life of a celebrity.

Justin Bieber, arguably the youngest and biggest pop star heartthrob to hit the music scene since The Beatles took America by storm almost 40 years earlier, is now a happily married man. He settled down with Hailey Baldwin, now Bieber, in 2018 after both growing up and growing inward with his faith.

In the couple's new Facebook Watch series, The Biebers , a fan got deep, asking if there was anything either of them would change about their past.

“Probably a lot of things I would change,” Justin admitted. “I don’t regret anything because I think it makes you who you are, and you learn from things. If I could go back and not have to face some of the bad hurt that I went through, I probably would’ve saved myself for marriage.”

“I know that sounds crazy,” he continued. “Sex can be kind of confusing when you’re being sexually active with anybody. We went there.”

His wife Hailey, however, wasn't fully in agreement.

“I don’t know if I’d say the same, but we had different experiences with everything,” said Hailey. “I do agree with the fact that being physical with someone can make things more confusing.”

Justin and Hailey also answered questions about their age related to marriage as Justin was twenty-four and Hailey was twenty-one when they tied the knot.

“I think both of us always knew we wanted to be married young... I always wanted to be married young," Hailey admitted. "My parents got married when they were 23. So, I just always saw myself being married young.”

Justin agreed. "I always pictured myself being married young. It was always, like, my goal because my family... I came from a broken home, so I always wanted to have my own family.”

Justin Bieber hasn't slowed his musical roll now that he and Hailey are sharing their ball and chain of love; the singer just released a quarantine single with fellow heartthrob Ariana Grande, "Stuck With U," the proceeds of which will be donated to COVID-19 relief.
