The singer urges us to connect globally

Pop icon and GRAMMY-winning singer Kelly Clarkson has just released her brand new "I Dare You" EP, which features a six versions of the song powerfully sung in different languages. In various native tongues, the newly released track comes at a time when the world needs healing most. Clarkson triumphantly dares us to love and these lyrics are echoed in French, Arabic, Spanish, German and Hebrew.

Each track features a prominent international vocalist singing alongside Clarkson in their country’s language.

“This is my favorite/hardest project that I’ve ever worked on," shares Kelly. "It has always been a dream of mine, as I grew up singing in different languages, to find that perfect song, with the perfect message, to connect us all globally and then record that song with several other artists around the world in their native languages.”

Clarkson’s “I Dare You” was written by Natalie Hemby, Laura Veltz and Ben West, who have worked with other great talents, such as Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Pink. The lyrics ring out like a positive beam of hope at a time when we are facing a global crisis. The song urges us to unite and to spread kindness. With powerful words and Clarkson’s strong vocals, it's a highly inclusive anthem that so many can connect to right now.

Today on The Kelly Clarkson Show the artist launched a world premiere of the performance music video that goes along with “I Dare You,” connecting virtually with all the duet partners highlighted on the new EP to sing in each of the languages. Watch it all unfold below.
