Lady Gaga Announces Release Date for the Long-Awaited ‘Chromatica’

The month of May just got so much better

Not to worry Little Monsters, Lady Gaga has finally announced the release of her sixth studio album, Chromatica. Since the superstar simply began teasing the idea of “#LG6” fans have been clamoring for the long awaited album.

This morning Gaga took to Twitter to share that Chromatica will officially drop on May 29th. Gaga says, “The journey continues.”

The sixteen-track album will feature songs with Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK and Elton John. Chromatica is now available for pre-order now in the official Lady Gaga online shop.

In late March the singer released a statement about pushing the debut of her highly anticipated album due to the pandemic, saying, “instead I prefer that we spend this time focusing on finding solutions.” But since the social media release of her March 24th announcement, Gaga has raised $128 Million for COVID-19 relief through her One World: Together At Home live stream event. Additionally Gaga will be featured as a commencement speaker alongside President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama during YouTube’s virtual graduation ceremony for the global class of 2020.

At this point we’d argue that Mother Monster has done quite a bit to find solutions and give back during a time when so many are facing adversity. We think that the May release of Chromatica is exactly what the world needs right now. Music heals, but Lady Gaga’s music does more than healing, it inspires change, creativity and strength.

Chromatica is out everywhere on May 29.
