Two Queens, One Track

Are you feeling ready for a remix?

Lizzo has enlisted Ariana Grande for a new version of “Good As Hell,” with the two self-assured stars coming together to give the empowerment anthem an extra assertive shot of amazing.

“The most fun. Thank you Lizzo for having me on this remix,” Grande tweeted as the song was released. “I love you, your energy and this record so so much.”

Grande and Lizzo trade affirmations, volleying verses about personal value. “Cause he better know my worth, there's so much that I deserve,” Ariana sings. “But I ain't worried now, I'ma let my hair down, he been trying it but not today.”

The “Good As Hell” Remix arrives just in time, in a moment when the breakout star could use a little positivity. Earlier this week the singer filed a lawsuit in response to claims about her song “Truth Hurts,” with songwriters attempting to take credit for parts of the chart-topping tune’s success.

“The men who now claim a piece of ‘Truth Hurts’ did not help me write any part of the song,” she wrote in a statement on the same day. “They had nothing to do with the line or how I chose to sing it. There was no one in the room when I wrote ‘Truth Hurts,’ except me, Ricky Reed, and my tears. That song is my life, and its words are my truth.”

Last weekend it was all “Good As Hell” for Lizzo, as she performed at RADIO.COM 7th annual We Can Survive, receiving a special gift from Taylor Swift and teaching Camila Cabello how to twerk.
