Lizzo Working on Music With Justin Timberlake: 'I Hope the World Gets to Hear Them'

The “Truth Hurts” singer on her time in the studio with JT

Justin Timberlake is back in the studio, this time with Lizzo and Meek Mill seemingly a part of the action.

The Man of the Woods singer posted two photos from a new session last week, the first featuring a conversation between JT and the Philly rapper, and the second showing a lively listening session with Lizzo.

“We made music,” Lizzo tells RADIO.COM. “We made some songs, and I just hope that the world gets to hear them cause they’re really fun.”

“Oh my god. Y’all are obsessed with Justin Timberlake,” she laughs. “But who isn’t. He’s funny. He’s very funny.”

In April, Timberlake wrapped up his Man of the Woods Tour, after suffering setbacks from vocal cord issues. The tour is one of the top-grossing of the last year. Justin’s fifth studio album was released in February of 2018.

As for Lizzo, the singer has been busy and an in-demand collaborator. Last week it was Megan Thee Stallion who was teasing a song from the two. “Lizzo is my girl, and we're both from Texas. I love Lizzo," Megan said in an interview with ET.
"I just can't wait for y'all to hear it. It's amazing already," she added. "Just two Texas girls and we just had a really good time."
