Rick Astley Makes Everything 'Better Now' With an Amazing Post Malone Cover

We promise you're not about to be Rick Rolled

Rick Astley, we’re never gonna give you up when it comes to delivering delightful cover songs.

Astley has been spending his time in quarantine uploading acoustic covers of various songs and his latest gem came out of left field.

“There are a lot of words in this song. It’s not my song, I don’t really know it properly,” Astley said in the opening of the video. “But I love it, so I’m gonna give it a go. Here we go, let’s see what happens.”

Astley then completely flipped the Post Malone song “Better Now” on its head playing an acoustic rendition that stands in stark contrast to the original. The song comes from Post’s 2018 record Beerbongs & Bentleys and blends Trap, Hip Hop, and Pop together.

Here’s the original track for reference.

Rick Astley also treated fans to perhaps the best video of quarantine. While many were hunkered down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Astley recorded a video called “Jet Washing my Wheelie Bins.”

The video was made in celebration of tickets selling out for his free concert in London celebrating frontline healthcare workers. Featuring Dua Lipa’s hit song “Don’t Start Now” as the soundtrack, Rick Astley, dressed in a lavender suit, dances around in his backyard with a hose and proceeds to wash his garbage bins.

It’s exactly as ridiculous as it sounds and will certainly lift your spirits today.
