The coaches of 'The Voice' get together and remind us it’ll be alright with this Bob Marley classic

The quartet returns ahead of the season premiere on October 19

Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani are back with an uplifting message: let’s get together and feel all right. At least from a safe distance

That’s the theme of the latest video from the coaches of The Voice as they joined together for a collaborative performance of the Bob Marley classic “One Love.”

The video opens up with John Legend strolling down the street before taking a seat at a piano. Clarkson then peers out of a window while Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani emerge out of an apartment and descend down a staircase while singing.

The performance brings a much needed uplift and helps raise our spirits ahead of the premiere of the 19th season on October 19.

Gwen Stefani marks her return to the coaches chair as she replaces Nick Jonas, who departed after the last season. Stefani last appeared in season 17 and also served as a coach during seasons 7, 9, and 12. She served as an advisor during seasons 8 and 10.

The show was forced to go remote for the final rounds of its most recent season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s no word yet on whether or not the show will return to its traditional format, but NBC has held virtual auditions ahead of the season opener inviting performers to create their own stages and perform for the judges virtually.
