September 13 marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Almost Famous and several stars of the film took to social media to celebrate.

Kate Hudson and Zooey Deschanel both took to Instagram to share screenshots from the film to commemorate 20 years since its premiere.

Hudson, who played Penny Lane in the film captioned her post “✨20 years today✨ #AlmostFamous.”

Deschanel shared a still from the movie writing “20 years of Almost Famous! ❤”

Director Cameron Crowe also paid tribute to the movie thanking fans, along with the cast and crew for helping the film achieve this milestone.

“Thanks to everybody for this wonderful 20th Anniversary for Almost Famous!! I'll always remember this moment, just after the last shot in Central Park. With love and huge appreciation for the cast and crew and all our friends,” he tweeted alongside a photo.
