Last week, the Foo Fighters announced that their show set for Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, CA would be postponed due to a confirmed COVID-19 case within the Foo Fighters camp with the promise that a new date would be announced shortly.

The band has come through quickly with a new date; Foo Fighters' L.A. Forum show will now take place on Thursday, August 26, with tickets from the canceled date being honored at the gates.

While it is still unclear what exactly prompted the rescheduling, whether the reported COVID-19 infection was among the band or crew members, the decision to push the date back was ultimately made "out of an abundance of caution," according to the band's social media.

In the meantime, the band has been dancin' through their latest release, a special Record Store Day offering of classic Bee Gees tracks by the Dee Gees (DG being frontman and discophile Dave Grohl) complete with a few live original tracks recorded at the Foos' 606 Studios.

The 2021 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are currently on the road to celebrate 26 years of rocking together with a string of anniversary dates across the U.S. Check out a current list of shows right here.
