Judas Priest Announces 50th Anniversary Tour

'We can’t wait to raise horns with you again'

Judas Priest formed in Birmingham, England in 1970. And they’re still going.

The metal legends are celebrating five decades with their 50 Heavy Metal Years tour. It begins September 9th in Oxon Hill, MD and runs through October 17th in Las Vegas.

Judas Priest are primed and ready to deliver the goods with our 50 Heavy Metal Years anniversary celebration stage show spectacular,” Rob Halford and company said in a press release. “Performing a blistering cross section of songs from our lives in metal - we can’t wait to raise horns with you again at this once in a metal lifetime event!”

Swedish metal band Sabaton will be the supporting act on the tour. Tickets go on sale soon and you can buy them right here.

Judas Priest released the highest-charting album of their career in 2018, and the band is said to be working on the follow-up to Firepower this year. Their 18th studio album went to #5 on the Billboard 200, proving there’s still plenty of gas left in the tank.
