Korn is gearing up to hit this road this summer for a joint tour with Staind, but will be doing so without longtime bassist Fieldy as he takes time to deal with “personal issues.” Now, the band has revealed who will be filling in for Fieldy and it’s absolutely epic.

“We appreciate your kind words of support in response to the recent tour update about Fieldy,” the band wrote in a social media post announcing the new member they’re bringing on tour.

While our brother takes some time to heal, we wanted to let you know that we are bringing our friend Ra Diaz from Suicidal Tendencies out with us this summer to fill in on Korn bass duties. We’ve all been rehearsing to get ready to bring the heat, and we can’t wait to see you next month.

Diaz has been a member of Suicidal Tendencies since 2016 and will join Korn for the entirety of their tour this summer.

Fieldy made the announcement that he was temporarily stepping away from Korn back in June. “The past 6 years I’ve been dealing with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me,” he wrote at the time.

“It’s been suggested to me to take some time off to heal. I’m going to respect what was asked of me and take that time. Unfortunately you will not see me on stage with my band. I will be working towards getting the bad habits out of my system.”

Korn will kick off their summer tour with Staind on August 5. Find a full list of tour dates and purchase tickets here.
