Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil is in mourning as his five-year-old Yorkshire terrier, "Cali," has since passed after suffering what he and his family call a "brutal murder" right at his front door by a neighbor's "kill for sport" dogs.
Even worse, it seems to have been captured on the home security system.
In a post on the pup's Instagram, her owners write:
"With a heavy heart we share the news that our beloved California Wolf Neil has gone to heaven. Her passing was tragic. She was brutally murdered on our front door by two evil neighbor dogs, which is caught on our security cameras. Our neighbors are trying to cover it up and say that she ran two football fields to their pasture and their long horn steers killed her!! Please pray for her justice because her killers are still running free!!"
"Cali touched every person she came in contact with and was loved by all. We wish we could have her back. But we know it’s the circle of life and she will come back to us in her next life. Thank you all for your support and love during these difficult times."
Vince Neil's girlfriend Rain Hannah also posted about the devastating loss saying, "We are beyond devastated from her passing. She was brutally hunted 5 steps from our front door by our viscous neighbors ‘kill for sport’ dogs. We will have Justice for Cali!"
The family plans to share more photos of Cali from their six years of beautiful memories with her in order to celebrate her beautiful life rather than her "horrific sudden end."
"We will be patiently waiting to see her again," the post ends, along with the hashtag, #justiceforcali.
Motley Crue were forced to postpone their massive stadium tour in 2020 with Def Leppard due to the current worldwide health crisis, but fans can rest assured the walls will be rocking once again in 2021 as stay-at-home orders are slowly lifted.
