Anderson is portrayed by Lily James while the famed Mötley Crüe drummer is played by Sebastian Stan. The show, which deems the scandal as “the greatest love story ever sold,” chronicles Anderson and Lee’s wild misadventures and their torrid romance, while Rand Gauthier (played by Seth Rogen) and Uncle Miltie (played by Nick Offerman) figure out what to do with the sex tape they just got their hands on.

Gauthier, who is a former disgruntled employee of the famed couple, is ultimately the mastermind behind sex tapes being synonymous with the “World Wide Web.” Viewers see how Gauthier and Militie’s decision to use the internet as their vehicle to share the sex tape is almost instantly successful.

We are shown iconic shots of Anderson on set of the famed Baywatch series finding out about her leaked tape, all while wearing the legendary red one-piece bathing suit.

Anderson and Lee were quick to make headlines in their heyday. In February of 1995, the couple married in Mexico, after only dating for a week. The actress and musician share their two sons, Brandon, 25, and Dylan, 24. The couple divorced three years after getting married, in February of 1998.

In September 2021, the rocker in real life told Entertainment Tonight, that he had no issue with Stan playing him in the upcoming series. “I know Sebastian, he's playing me. From what he's told me, really beautiful story,” said Lee. “I think a lot of people would think it's one thing, but it's really about privacy and how things got crazy then. There's different laws now."

The first three episodes of Pam & Tommy premiere on Wednesday, February 2.
