A ‘Breaking Bad’ Movie Is Coming to Netflix

The next chapter for Jesse Pinkman is almost here.

After months of speculation, Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming “Breaking Bad” movie.

With Aaron Paul back as Pinkman, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” premieres October 11th on the streaming platform, according to CNN.

Although the one-minute clip shows no signs of Paul, it does feature the character Skinny Pete being interrogated by police about Pinkman’s whereabouts.

When the blockbuster AMC series concluded its run in 2013, Pinkman was last seen driving off in an El Camino after Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, helped him escape from the Neo-Nazi gang forcing him to make crystal meth.

While plot details for have not been released, it’s clear “El Camino” will deal with Pinkman’s journey in the aftermath of the climactic finale.

"In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future," reads the official Netflix description for the movie.

Premiering in 2008, “Breaking Bad” ran for five seasons and earned 16 Emmy awards, including four lead actor wins for Cranston and three supporting actor nods for Paul.

After staying completely silent about the new movie, Paul revealed his excitement for “El Camino” by sharing an important scene from season 3 of “Breaking Bad” and encouraged fans to watch it as it will “slowly prepare you all for what’s to come.”

The news of the movie comes six weeks after fans were duped believing Cranston and Paul were reuniting on screen following a series of cryptic posts the two actors shared to social media.

Those turned out to be promotion for the duo’s new mezcal liquor brand, Dos Hombres.

It’s still unclear if Cranston will appear in some form in “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.” Fans will have to wait until October 11th to find out.
