Kardashian family films final episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

It’s the end of a reality TV era!

The Kardashian-Jenner clan has officially filmed their final episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

According to Instagram posts from Kim Kardashian West and Khloe Kardashian, Friday marked the last day of filming for the family’s long-running reality TV show, which launched their careers and made them household names.

“Last filming day of Keeping Up with the Kardashians EVER!” Kim wrote on her Instagram Story.

She shared a video of Erin, their audio tech of 14 years, putting on their microphones for one last time.

Kim also shared footage from the family’s final lunch. The adorable place settings included a cookie bearing each member’s likeness.

Khloe also shared footage of the last day of filming on her story, which included a Starbucks cup with the words “Happy Last Day” written all over it and sweet treats from the Beignet Box food truck. She also showed off a painting of their old house where “it all started.”

The Kardashian family first announced that the upcoming 20th season would be the last in a statement released September 2020.

"After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” it read.

The E! series, co-created by Ryan Seacrest, premiered back in 2006 and gave fans a glimpse into the lives of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian, momager and matriarch Kris Jenner, beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, model Kendall Jenner, and Rob Kardashian.

It documented luxurious vacations, private moments, romances, weddings, divorces, photoshoots, weddings, and Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.

So far, a premiere date for the upcoming final season has not been announced.

But as one chapter closes, another one opens. The Kardashian-Jenners won’t be away for too long as they announced in December that they signed a “multi-year deal” with Hulu to create “global content.”
