Ralph Lauren Launches Clothing Line for 'Friends' 25th Anniversary

Jennifer Aniston’s character on “Friends” made “The Rachel” hairstyle one of the biggest trends of the ‘90s.

And now Ralph Lauren is paying tribute to the character’s fashion sense with a capsule collection to honor the sitcom’s upcoming 25th anniversary, according to People.

The ready-to-wear-line is entitled The One Where They Wore Ralph Lauren and is available now at Bloomingdales and RalphLauren.com. This is of particular note since Aniston’s character worked at both Ralph Lauren and Bloomingdales after ending her stint as a barista at Central Perk.

The line features already existing pieces that Rachel might have worn to work in 2019, including skirts, blazers, suits, leather pants and suede boots. Items in the collection start at $39.50 for a t-shirt and go all the way up to $2,998 for a leopard-print coat.

"The collection is a celebration of the brand's role in the series," said Ralph Lauren in statement. "Just as friends proved to be a perennial favorite series for viewers over the last 25 years, this collection reflects Ralph Lauren's timeless styles and archetypes that have remained a go-to for the modern working woman."

In addition to shopping for the outfits, customers visiting Bloomingdale’s flagship store in New York City on September 21st and 22nd  will be able to enjoy free coffee at a replica of Central Perk that will also feature the infamous orange couch. To further enhance the experience, there will be a recreation of Rachel’s office for shoppers to peruse will trying on looks.

Both installations will later move to other Bloomingdales stores across the country for wannabe Rachels to enjoy.

Sunday marks the official 25th anniversary since “Friends” premiered on September 22nd, 1994.
