Melissa Joan Hart and 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' Cast Get Together for Magical Reunion

In the words of Charli XCX, “I just want to go back, back to 1999.”

And that’s exactly what the original cast and crew of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” did over the weekend when they came together for an epic reunion, 17 years after the show took its final bow.

PEOPLE reports that the lady responsible for all the mischief was none other than Melissa Joan Hart, who played the titular character Sabrina Spellman.

Hart reportedly rented out a coffee shop in Los Angeles to host over 100 members of the cast and crew responsible for the success of the ‘90s sitcom.

“Last night was a #woohoo kinda night!” the 43-year-old actress captioned a group photo.

“100 members of our cast and crew got together for a casual hang out and reminisced about all things 90’s, Magic and filling the gaps in the last 17 years," the caption continued.

The photo features Hart, Nate Richert (who played her on-screen boyfriend Harvey Kinkle), Alimi Ballard (Quizmaster Albert), Soleil Moon Frye (Roxie King), Elisa Donovan (Morgan Cavanaugh), Jenna Leigh Green (Libby Chessler), Trevor Lissauer (Miles Goodman) and more.

“My life for 7 years was wrapped up in these people who hold a very special place in my heart,” she shared in the caption for another post from the event which included Sabrina’s high school bestie Valerie Birkhead (played by Lindsay Sloane).

“People remember high school years and college roommates forever in most cases and this was 7 years so this is my other family!! So much ♥️ for these peeps!!!!!" the caption reads.

The event was complete with photo props and themed treats that Hart shared on her Instagram. Some of the cookies were decorated with the “Sabrina” logo while others were in the shape of brooms, a cauldron, and a black cat in honor of Salem Saberhagen.

Ahead of the reunion, the actress shared a heartwarming photo of the whole cast on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

In 2018, Netflix rebooted the sitcom starring Kiernan Shipka as the titular character. The series, which has drawn inspiration from the Archie Comics, takes on a darker tone and deals with the occult and Sabrina's connection to the Dark Lord. The third season premiered in January 2020.
