'Stranger Things' offers first new look at season 4 in over a year with fresh teaser

It has been nearly two years since "Stranger Things" gave us a third season and 15 months since the first trailer for season 4 debuted on February 14, 2020.

Now after production has resumed for the show's fourth season we've been offered a look inside Hawkins National Laboratory in a trailer captioned, "Eleven, are you listening?"

The trailer hints at the return of Dr. Brenner, who Eleven and the other kids at the lab call "Papa". His return comes after we thought he was killed at the end of season 1 and it's not clear if this is a flashback, or a dream, but we'll have to wait to find out as a release date has still not been shared.

What we do know is that this won't be the end for the kids from Hawkins as we'll get at least one more season after this upcoming one.

"Season four won't be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story," said co-creator Ross Duffer.
