“I’d like to buy a whole new family!”
“Wheel of Fortune” contestant Blair Davis put a brutally honest spin on the show’s usual loving introductions by trashing his “loveless marriage” and “rotten” family, according to CNN.
On Monday’s episode, the trucking business owner shocked host Pat Sajak with his hilarious description of his so-called loved ones.
“I've been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battle-axe named Kim," Davis said as audience members began to laugh.
“She cursed my life with three step-children named Star, RJ, and Ryan. And I have one rotten grandson.”
After figuring out the San Diego, California man was clearly “being facetious,” Sajak said, "No wonder you came here, you just wanted to get away from everybody.”
Ribbing aside, Davis then revealed his true feelings by admitting,"I love them like nobody’s business."
In fact, he even disclosed the reason he keeps his extra long beard is to please his “rotten” grandson.
"Every time I threaten to shave it off, he gives me a really hard time," Davis added.
Viewers found Davis’ remarks a breath of fresh air as many commented that he was “hilarious” and “said what we always wanted someone to say.”
Unfortunately, his game play wasn’t up to par and didn’t win, so we won’t get another chance to see Davis’ dark comedic talents on TV.
Currently in its 37th season, “Wheel of Fortune” ranks as the longest-running syndicated game show in the United States with over 7000 shows aired.
