All good things must come to an end, again!
After being rebooted in 2017, ‘"Will & Grace" will sign-off for good with the conclusion of the revival’s third season in 2020, according to Variety.
“We think of the Will & Grace reboot episodes the way Karen Walker thinks of martinis – 51 is not enough, 53 is too many. That is why, after consulting with the cast, we all have decided this will be the final season,” executive producers Max Mutchnick, David Kohan, and James Burrows said in a joint statement.
The groundbreaking sitcom was instrumental in introducing gay characters to mainstream audiences when it premiered in 1998.
The series made household names of stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes and ran for eight seasons before being cancelled for the first time in 2006.
After an 11-year hiatus, “Will & Grace” returned to NBC primetime in 2017 and drew over 7 million viewers.
