Liam Gallagher just announced a new album and is promising fans a ‘biblical’ performance at Knebworth Park, the site where Oasis played two nights in front of 250,000 fans that was captured for a concert film.

C’mon You Know will be Gallagher’s third solo studio album and is set to be released on May 27, 2022.

Liam shared the news of his album on his Twitter account and shortly afterwards told fans about his return to Knebworth Park. “I'm absolutely buzzing to announce that on 4th June 2022 I'll be playing Knebworth,” Liam said. “It's gonna be biblical.”

According to NME, one of the songs on Liam’s upcoming album is dedicated to his brother Noel Gallagher, a situation we can't help but crack a smile at. “The next single is gonna be called ‘Better Days’ and it’s full of sunshine,” Gallagher said. “And then there’s another one, ‘I Wish I Had More Power,’ and it’s dedicated to Noel."

Knebworth is of great significance to Oasis as it’s the location where the band performed over two nights in front of more than 250,000 fans back in 1996. The shows, which saw just over 2% of the U.K. population attempt to buy tickets, were documented in the concert film Oasis Knebworth 1996.

Gallagher described the upcoming concert as “history part two, mate.”

“I am excited. I mean, I’ve done it before and it was mega. And the beautiful thing about it is – obviously I can’t remember much of it – but I get the chance to do it again. Obviously I’m older and a little bit more wiser, and I’m going to milk it, you know what I mean? I’m going to really take it in. I’m buzzing, man. It’s like I said, it’s now or never, know what I mean? If I don’t do it now, I’ll never do it."
