Wallen posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday night showcasing the two Country stars in a golf cart with Eric flashing a “hang loose” sign and Wallen striking a funny pose. By the looks of it, they were definitely enjoying themselves.
“Couple them southern boys,” Wallen captured the post, referring to his East Tennessee roots and Church’s Carolina upbringing.
The photo was well-received by fans of Church and Wallen alike, who filled the comments section with requests for them to tour together, collaborate on new music, and of course, a lot of heart emojis.
The photo is a special treat for fans from both camps, as Church is not one to post clips from his personal life on social media, and Wallen has lots of curiosity surrounding his personal life since he stepped out of the spotlight earlier this year following a viral video of him using a racial slur.
Many have praised Church, who has seemingly stepped in to be a good friend and influence for Morgan since his career suffered majorly as a result of his actions.
In early April, Wallen revealed to his fans, through a handwritten letter, that he would not fulfill his spot on the upcoming Luke Bryan tour or play the festival dates he was previously scheduled for, in an effort to focus his attention on his recovery.
While Morgan didn’t have plans to fulfill live shows, he showed he wasn’t opposed to getting on stage after performing on a whim at Kid Rock’s Nashville bar about a month after posting the letter.
The performance was the first public appearance for the 28-year-old singer since the controversy.
