While YouTube can be a great outlet, nothing beats learning from the pros. As coronavirus has caused a disruption in all our lives, many musicians are paying it forward by offering lessons online.
Whether you want to learn the drums, jazz guitar, electronic music production, or various vocal styles, there's an instructor out there for you.

Marc Ford
The former Black Crowes guitarist is offering lessons over Skype on a variety of topics. Ford offers guitar lessons, tone technique, and rig consultation. Classes come in 30 and 60 minute options.
Reba McEntire
Get a glimpse into everything that has made Reba the musician she is today. McEntire not only teaches how to write and play Country music, but also the business side of the industry.

If you haven't started following the Queen guitarist on Instagram yet, you'll want to do so ASAP. May has been posting guitar tutorials on classic Queen songs such as this video of "We Will Rock You." Plus, May discusses how to get the tone you need to sound just like him.

The Phish bassist has been giving lessons on his Instagram account as live videos. While he doesn't maintain a consistent class schedule, you'll want to check his Twitter account as he'll post whenever he's offering lessons.
Roger Taylor
The Queen drummer has not only been giving lessons himself, he's enlisted some of the finest drummers in the world to lend a hand. Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins, Pearl Jam's Matt Cameron, and Jane's Addiction's Stephen Perkins have all made appearances on Taylor's account to give a lesson.

The bassist has toured with the likes of Lady Gaga and decided to use this time in quarantine to set up a website connecting fans to musicians. Maestro Match has hundreds of musicians signed up to offer lessons to prospective students online.

When not on the road or in studio, Death Cab For Cutie's Jason McGerr uses his time to teach others the art of drumming. He's using his time in quarantine to continue providing lessons online and has recruited fellow indie rock musicians to join him.
