Thousand Dollar Can't Beat Karen: Listen for Your Chance to Win a Pass to Experience Magic of Lights

For the Listen for your chance to play the Can’t Beat Karen contest, enter by listening on weekday mornings from ​9:00am (ET) to ​10:00am (ET) on Monday, December 1, 2025, through Friday, December 5, 2025, for the cue to call. Upon hearing the cue to call, be one of the first five (5) callers at 1-800-949-1027. Each of the first five (5) callers will each have the opportunity to answer one (1) pop trivia question off-air for the chance to play the on-air game against Karen Carson. The one (1) caller that the station staff determines to have the best audio quality, phone connection, and clarity from among the first five (5) callers that morning will then advance to play the on-air “Can’t Beat Karen” game (each a “Finalist”). Shortly following being selected as a Finalist, the Finalist will then compete against Karen via telephone and be asked to correctly answer five (5) pop culture trivia questions. If the Finalist “Beats” Karen by answering more questions correctly than Karen does, then upon verification of eligibility, that Finalist will receive one (1) Standard Vehicle Any Day Pass to Magic of Lights at the venue of the winner's choice, either Northwell at Jones Beach Theater (Wantagh, NY) or PNC Bank Arts Center (Holmdel, NJ)(Pass valid through January 3, 2026), and an official “Can’t Beat Karen” mug (the “Qualifying Prize”) and will also receive one-hundred and two dollars ($102) (the “Grand Prize”). The Grand Prize will be awarded in the form of a corporate check issued in the name of the Grand Prize Winner. Checks will be mailed approximately fourteen (14) weeks after the station receives all required paperwork back from each Grand Prize Winner. If the Finalist does not “Beat” Karen, the Finalist will only win the Qualifying Prize. The number of listeners winning $102 depends on the number of listeners beating Karen in the Can’t Beat Karen game.  There will be up to five (5) Qualifying Prize winners. The passes are valued at $37.00 each and are courtesy of Live Nation. Each “Can’t Beat Karen” mug is valued at $5.00 and is courtesy of WNEW-FM. There will be up to five (5) potential Grand Prize winners. The Grand Prize is courtesy of WNEW-FM. The winner(s) and any guest(s), if applicable, must comply with any and all COVID-19 vaccination, screening, testing, safety, and related requirements imposed or required by (if applicable) the Station, the venue, event promoter, sponsors, travel providers, hotels, governmental authorities or others in connection with the receipt, use, and redemption of the prize. Refusal to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements will result in forfeiture of the prize and no replacement or alternate prize will be provided. All cancellations are deemed beyond the control of the Station and its sponsors. This includes, but is not limited to, event cancellations due to any pandemic or epidemic constituting a public health emergency, including those subject to government-mandated quarantines, travel restrictions, or stay-at-home orders.  The Station and/or its sponsors shall in no way be responsible under any circumstances whatsoever for replacing, and/or for reimbursing any winner(s) with any form of compensation for, any prize(s) or portion(s) thereof forfeited due to the refusal of the winner(s) and/or their guest(s) to comply with all applicable COVID-19 requirements and/the cancellation of any event, nor will any alternate prize(s) be provided.   Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable of downloading and running a third-party mobile ticketing app (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB, etc.); (ii) to install, or have already installed, such mobile ticketing app on their app-enabled mobile device; and (iii) to login into an existing user account or to sign up for a free user account with the third-party operating such mobile ticketing app by completing a form with all required information, including at a minimum first name, last name, and valid email address. THE PRIZE(S) IN THIS CONTEST CANNOT BE REDEEMED OR USED BY ANY MEANS OTHER THAN THE DESIGNATED THIRD-PARTY MOBILE TICKETING APP FOR THIS PRIZE.
