Ceri revealed that many songs on the band's new album were inspired by an on-and-off relationship that lasted 6 years during his twenties, where he learned what it meant to truly love someone. "You realize what it actually is, and that it's not about the fireworks and the things, it's about, when you hear someone's voice does it feel like home? And can you sit on a couch and do nothing for five hours and you're OK with that, and that's your life and you're fine with that being life. And so a lot of the record is about that relationship and me being very grateful for that relationship."
