The "Pop That" rapper shared that "music is one of the major things that helped me get over mental health because it's like therapeutic... You take out everything you going through and you put it on the pen, you put it on paper." He appreciates music because of the way it has the ability to heal both sides, the creator and the consumer, "by healing them, you're healing yourself," he said.

He urges people struggling with mental health to "rely on keeping a circle of people that love you around you" and to continue the conversation around mental health issues. "Talking about mental health always help, especially when people realize that everybody's going through the same thing," he said.
Aside from music, he says he likes to stay active and busy to protect his mental health. He lives by the saying "never let yesterday take too much of today."
