George Clooney hinted at quite the team-up recently.

In conversation with director Steven Soderbergh (helmer of “Ocean’s” and “Magic Mike” movies) at the 2023 TCM Classic Film Festival the pair were asked by moderator Ben Mankiewicz if there was any possibility to revisiting the ‘Ocean’s’ characters now, according to EW.

Soderbergh said there have been conversations, and brought up “Ocean’s Eight” as one such talks.

“They killed me, by the way,” Clooney chimed in, in reference to his character Danny Ocean’s gravesite appearing in “Ocean’s Eight”.

Soderbergh then said two years were taken off Danny Ocean’s age on the mausoleum, so he may still be alive.

“Sure, but I’m dead,” Clooney responded.

Clooney then said it was because Soderbergh got too busy with the “Magic Mike” franchise, leading him to suggest merging the universes.

“Ocean’s Mike?” He joked.

“Danny gets his groove,” Clooney then suggested, referring to his character Danny Ocean.

George Clooney most recently appeared alongside Julia Roberts in the rom-com “Ticket to Paradise”.
