Everyone’s talking about Saweetie’s dapper date to the 21st BET Awards. But, it’s not what y’a’ll think, because the man in question - Johnny Harper, is actually her father.

Anticipating the chatter, since she’s no longer mixing it up with 1/3 of Migos (if you didn’t know she dated Quavo - what are you even doing here?). Saweetie made sure to tweet out a beaming behind-the-scenes daddy-daughter pic, which she simply captioned “Pops,” to avoid any confusion.
We’re kind of obsessed with them, almost as much as we are with her look. Which we must get into right now.
Saweetie’s stylist Wilford Lenov took inspo from the archives with this reimagined 2004 Dolce & Gabbana dress. The purple chiffon garment featured a leg slit, long train, and two sashes draped over a halter bra.
A simple blonde top knot, bejeweled gladiator heels, teardrop earnings, and immaculate make-up finished off the look. Speaking of looks, Jack Harlow was clearly into it and couldn’t look away, flashing Saweetie a megawatt smile on the red carpet.
Oh, and of course there was a red hot “heavy af” outfit change for the actual award show.
While Saweetie might not have taken home any awards, but by the looks of it she sure had an amazing night.
